(We) had GREAT time at The Velvet Note last night. The entertainment was very good and the staff was courteous and professional. Tamara was a perfect and very accommodating host. I’ll be telling people visit this unique gem in Alpharetta and will be back myself. In this intimate 40-seat venue there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The VIP sofa is quite comfy. The short ribs were to die for. – Chrystal Lord Stachura
This venue is absolutely fantastic. It is a performer’s dream come true; classy atmosphere, listening audience, comfortable and relaxed…not stuffy. And the best part is its host, Tamara, who sets the tone for each evening, like we’re all there, friends and gathering for a common purpose – digging deep into the music. –Nashville Jazz vocalist Annie Sellick
Had a wonderful time & experience Saturday!! Annie Sellick & the band did a wonderful job. Didn’t want the set to end!! Chef Gary also did an excellent job! –Tasha Grove

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed playing The Velvet Note with Jason Marsalis. What a great acoustic room and staff. I’m really looking forward to playing there again.—Dave Potter, Drummer, The Jason Marsalis Quartet
The music: both the performers and the sound stage were fantastic; I couldn’t be more pleased with just how good this room sounds, and based on the sound-proofing, a great deal of expense was made to achieve this fine sound. This is a wonderful room for acoustic music, and the Baldwin grand piano sounded warm and balanced.—Yelp Diner
A great listening room to hear live music – menu had only 2 items, and I did not try them but hear they were delicious – beverages were great. – Rewards Network Diner

My wife and I recently visited The Velvet Note in Alpharetta Ga by invitation from a good friend. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. I’m originally born and raised in NYC, so I’m familiar with quality jazz venues and the like…and I’ve run a nightclub for 18 years. Well, now it’s right here, just outside of Atlanta. The stunning and intimate environment is something you must witness live. Just as the description…you feel like your in your own living room, listening to the purest acoustic sound possible. Every seat is a GREAT seat so you need to make reservations. Service and staff were excellent. The owner Tamara Fuller was gracious and very accessible. Do yourself a favor and visit The Velvet Note, Friday or Sat..it will be well worth your time –Todd Smith
Wishing you all the best of luck!! You guys are going to do great and this is just what we need in our community! –Lisa Clement
