This trio brings three equal voices to explore melody, space, swing, and improvisation through original compositions and standards. Pianist Mark Tucker lends his lyrical and inventive compositions to the trio and performs with both his own trio and saxophonist Nick Panov. Bassist Robert Dickson has performed with Lou Marini, Lew Soloff, Johnny O’Neal, and Jason Marsalis, and is in demand as both a performer and music educator. Drummer Dana Fitzsimons has performed with Harris Simon, New Orleans legend Little Queenie, and leads The Hot Club of Atlanta, and his current release “the Cheap Ensemble” has received critical acclaim and has been played on jazz radio around the world.
