Here’s to Life! The Music of Shirley Horn
In a way unlike any other artist, lyrics came to life when interpreted through Shirley Horn. Horn is known for her ability to take lyrics and transform it into a deep expression of jazz. Her use of phrasing and space gives the audience time to absorb what even the writer may not have even seen in their own work.

On Dec 21st, in the midst of the Christmas spirit away from the rush of last minute shopping will be a night of introspection, interpreted by the voice of Tabreeca Woodside.
In the words of Ms. Horn,
“I want you to feel what I feel. I want you to see the picture
I’m trying to paint. I want you to be beside me. Be inside me.
That’s the way I feel”
Music Director Che Marshall and Soloist Tabreeca Woodside lead this holiday celebration of the luminous artistry of Shirley Horn.
Showtimes: 7:30pm and 9:30pm Admission: $29.
