Lady Bo Wyatt | The Velvet Note

Lady Bo Wyatt

Friday, June 8th

Blues and Soul Performer Lady Bo Wyatt

This Blues Powerhouse will make you feel so good….and so bad!

Lady Bo is a native Atlantan whose performance roots began at a very early age.  She was trained in dance from 4 years old, and after earning a degree in Speech and Theater Arts, she found herself specializing in West African cultural dance.  Additionally, she became a charter player in “Just Us” Theatre company, performing a musical at The 14th Street Playhouse, starring opposite Samuel L. Jackson.

Lady Bo’s father–accomplished jazz saxophonist J.O. Wyatt–was owner and proprietor of “Just Jazz”, one of Atlanta’s premier jazz clubs in the early 90’s.  Upon his passing, Lady Bo felt spiritually-compelled to carry on his musical legacy.  Today, you will find her to be a high-energy performer, specializing in the soulful, sultry renditions of old school blues and jazz.

Showtimes:  7:30pm and 9:30pm.     Admission:  $26.
