Our Fifth Anniversary Celebration

The Velvet Note is turning FIVE YEARS OLD and we are CELEBRATING!  On Saturday, June 3rd, we want a room full of friends to join us for an evening of great music, food and fun, with some special surprises!

The star of the show is jazz composer, cellist and vocalist Shana Tucker.  With a deep respect for lyrical storytelling, Shana’s melodies weave strong hints of jazz, classical, soulful folk, acoustic pop and a touch of R&B into a distinctive rhythmic tapestry. Balancing performances in theatres, clubs and festivals with her role as featured cellist/vocalist in Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ in Las Vegas, she is an artist on a fast-rising ascent.
