Matthew Sperry is the instrumental winner of The Velvet Note’s 2022 Open Mic Competition. This accomplished pianist has spent the past year as a student at the prestigious Frost School of Music at The University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, and he’s ready to rumble! Matthew has wowed audiences with his creative interpretations of jazz standards and his intricate finger work, and we look forward to bringing him back for another spectacular concert performance.
