Dustin Fichter earned his Bachelor of Music Degree (Commercial Guitar) from the prestigious Belmont University and is now pursuing a Masters in Jazz Studies from the highly regarded University of Louisville. His exceptional playing has allowed him to share the stage with acts ranging from Pat Metheny’s drummer Danny Gottlieb, Charles Mingus’s Alto Saxophonist Charles McPherson as well as Gospel icons, JJ Hairston, and Todd Galbreth.
This show will be a wide mix of a range of styles–with something for everyone. There will be blues, originals and other songs written ranging from jazz fusion (Oz Noy, Scott Henderson) to a more modern jazz sound (Rosenwinkel).
