Can you believe that The Velvet Note has been around for 9 years?!? It seems like it was just yesterday when we were looking at a powder-blue frozen yogurt shop and wondering how to transform it into a world-class jazz club. Through the years, there have been many people, events and things that have contributed to our successful survival, and one of the greatest has been YOU– THE VELVET NOTE MUSICIAN!

The way I would most like to celebrate our ninth anniversary is to see and hear you in the acoustic living room. So, consider this your invitation to our Ninth Anniversary Come-Thru!

Every musician who has performed a show at The Velvet Note will be invited to be here, so it will be a great hang. You can come when you’d like and stay as long or as little as you want. There is NO FEE for entry–your name will be on the guest list. I will cook a COMPLIMENTARY DINNER for you, although you’ll need to pay for your drinks. We have a great backline and plenty of sound enhancement. The only thing I ask is that you play something while you’re here.
