Tomi Jenkins, Formerly of CAMEO
Get ready for a night of funk, soul, and R&B when Tomi Jenkins, formerly of CAMEO, takes the stage at The Velvet Note Jazz club in Atlanta.
Jenkins is a founding member of CAMEO, one of the most successful funk bands of all time. He has been a part of the group since its inception in 1974, and he has helped to write and produce some of their biggest hits, including “Candy,” “Word Up,” and “Single Life.”
In recent years, Jenkins has been pursuing his solo career. He has released two albums, “A Life to Remember” and “Soul Survivor,” and he has toured extensively. His solo work is a mix of funk, soul, and R&B, and it features his signature smooth vocals and catchy melodies.
Jenkins’ upcoming shows at The Velvet Note are sure to be a party. He will be performing all of his solo hits, as well as some of CAMEO’s biggest classics. He will also be joined by a full band, so expect to dance the night away.
