During the day, ENOCH is employed by the prestigious High Museum of Art. At night, however, this producer and turntablist is the go-to-guy for an alternative, above & underground fusion of the right elements for a cosmic occasion. His spin style is a combination of Acid Jazz & Broken Beat from the UK, Afro Beat from the Congo, Bossa Nova from below the equator and classic and Nu Soul from the depths of spirit worldwide. His approach to his craft is to use universal melodic vibrations to reach his audience. “As a deejay,” ENOCH says, “I never play music that disrespects women, endorses drug selling, or kills communities. My interest is in doing my part to heal the planet one song at a time.”
ENOCH was was awarded “DJ of the Year” in St. Louis in 2009, and has shared the decks and stages with some of the industry’s most prominent musicians, deejays and producers on the Dance and Soul scenes including but not limited to Rich Medina, Osunlade, Questlove and Kerri Chandler, and Vikter Duplaix, and has opened concerts for Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, Vivian Green, Julie Dexter, as well as Anthony Hamilton, Kindred and Eric Roberson. He was a staple on his hometown of St. Louis’s nightlife scene, spinning for various Spoken Word functions, private events, clubs and eclectic lounges, and has been the music coordinator for several fashion shows, exercise classes, and scored soundtracks for independent short films. **Gratuities Welcomed and Smiled Upon**
