Grayscale Whale is a four-piece ensemble that specializes in jazz, funk, and Latin fusion. The genre-bending group produces a body of flowing, focused sound refined from a sea of raw, relentless energy. With each performance, Grayscale Whale takes itself and listeners on a sonic voyage. Seamlessly transitioning between highs and lows, the group performs energetic, eclectic, and tastefully spontaneous modern fusion. Their sound is a colorful patchwork of influences incorporating the deep grooves of Snarky Puppy, artful dexterity of Weather Report, the compositional textures of Belá Fleck & the Flecktones and the progressive rock intensity of Rush.

With no two shows ever being the same, each performance is a fresh, innovative experience – with Grayscale Whale delivering a type of soulful, funky jazz fusion that all listeners can enjoy.
