Frank Valdez
Originally from San Antonio, TX, Frank chose Atlanta, GA as his home when offered a choice of retirement bases as an Army Bandsman. Living in Atlanta has provided him with a variety of music performance opportunities. From Pop, Jazz, R&B to Salsa live performances he has shown himself to be an entertainer as well as a master musician. In addition to live performances he also has done numerous studio sessions for local artists and studios. Listen to Frank HERESince his retirement from the Army, Frank has spent a majority of his time fishing the lakes of Georgia and Alabama with the occasional break for a round of golf with friends and his father- in-law. Most of his working is done with Event Performance’s premier band, US Beat as featured soloist and percussionist. Since most of these performances are private functions, this performance at the Velvet Note is a very rare situation. Frank will be performing with top area musicians, Larry Barker on Piano, Charlie Mishalany on Electric and Acoustic Bass, and from the Velvet Note’s house band–Jared Lanham on Drums.
