Starring “Frank The Singer”

FrankTheSinger2In Season 9 of “America’s Got Talent” adorable, 74-year-old Frank Dimitri took the stage, captured our hearts and blew the judges away.  Howie Mandel exclaimed, “What took you so long?!” and with that, a star was born.

Watch Frank’s Round One Audition on “America’s Got Talent” BELOW.

As a kid, Frank Dimitri stuttered so badly he wound up in scuffles when he got teased. But when he was alone and singing, it was a completely different story.

The modest crooner from Black Canyon City, Arizona, worked most of his life as a bartender, while harboring a little-known talent and passion for music.  “After work, I had to clean up, I sang then. I sang at home,” Dimitri recalled.  “The thing that held me back was me, I just didn’t have the confidence,” he said. “My lady friend Joan said, ‘You need to get out and sing,’ that’s where it came out.”

Who better to serenade us in celebration of Frank Sinatra’s birthday?  This will be a fun-filled performance of music, history and laughter.  Join in the fun, and yes, ladies….Frank is STILL SINGLE!
