SHOWTIMES: 7:30PM AND 9:30PM. There is something special about a musician who knows how to make every note matter. Edwin G. Hamilton is that kind of artist. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and recording artist, Hamilton brings a lifetime of musical curiosity, discipline, and soul to the stage. His journey has taken him from studying with legendary New Orleans drummer Herlin Riley to performing alongside jazz greats including Wynton Marsalis, Christian Sands, and Wycliffe Gordon. But what makes an evening with Edwin Hamilton memorable isn’t simply where he’s been or whom he’s played with. It’s what happens when all of that experience becomes music, right in front of you. Join us for an intimate evening with the Edwin G. Hamilton Trio at The Velvet Note.
