Showtimes: 7:30pm and 9:30pm. On Saturday, November 21, The Velvet Note continues its centennial celebration of Miles Davis and John Coltrane with Miles and Trane at 100. Drawing from classic recordings, this live tribute brings the music of two jazz giants into the intimacy of our listening room. Come hear the space Miles could leave around a single note and the urgency Trane could bring to a whole rush of them. Starring: Dave Potter (drums), Kevin Bales (Piano), Tommy Sauter (bass), Fareeed Muhali (Saxophone) and Joe Gransden (trumpet).
