Chantae Cann is an acclaimed American jazz and soul singer-songwriter celebrated for her soothing, honey-drizzled vocals and her signature blend of mature R&B filled with joy and positivity. Raised in Chicago and currently based in Atlanta, Cann spent over a decade touring the globe and lending her sweet background vocals to industry heavyweights like India.Arie, PJ Morton, and the genre-bending collective Snarky Puppy. She successfully transitioned into a premier solo artist with her 2016 debut album, Journey to Golden, which rocketed to the #1 spot on the iTunes Jazz Charts and #7 on the Jazz Billboard Charts, followed by her critically praised 2017 sophomore record, Sol Empowered. Driven by her personal mantra to “do it afraid,” Cann channels her faith and life experiences into healing music, while also managing her non-profit, The Love Heals Movement, and advocating for families affected by Huntington’s disease.
