As the only son of the legendary Freddy Cole (and nephew of the Great Nat King Cole and cousin of Natalie Cole), Lionel Cole encapsulates the best of the swingy, velvety sound of the great Cole family, featuring many original arrangements adapted to the era and genre.

Lionel is an American soul with a jazz heart and blues attitude. He’s platinum selling, award winning, Fulbright lecturer, as well as an internationally acclaimed entertainer, Los Angeles music doctor, high- profile multi-instrumentalist. He possesses a smooth baritone voice from the new generation of the iconic “Cole” Family.

His shows feature the great songs of the Jazz age as well as the Pop and Soul music of the day that changed his life, all played with a Jazz sensibility and that signature Cole flair for arrangement.
