Taylor Roberts is a 7-string jazz guitarist, recording artist, and educator whose playing blends the richness of jazz with subtle R&B, soul, and contemporary influences. With more than two decades of experience, he has performed internationally and shared the stage with artists including Charlie Hunter, Howard Alden, Terreon Gully, and Kevin Bales.

Xina Marie, a classically trained vocalist of Trinidadian and Jamaican descent, brings together classical finesse, jazz sophistication, and unmistakable island flavor. Her musical journey spans more than 20 years, including extensive touring throughout Europe and Brazil. She made her jazz debut on the very same Velvet Note stage two years ago.

Together, Xina Marie and Taylor Roberts create a dynamic vocal-and-guitar duo rooted in jazz, pairing soulful vocals with expressive 7-string guitar for an evening of beautiful melodies, sophisticated grooves, and undeniable musical chemistry.
