Young Guns Series:  Drummer Dylan Heyl

At the age of 13 Dylan has already performed at key venues and festivals in Atlanta including: The Velvet Note, Rialto Center for The Arts, Hard Rock Cafe, The Masquerade, Terminal West, Taste of Alpharetta, and Wing and Rock Fest.

Dylan began showing a focused interest in music by age 2. With his dad as an active musician, Dylan grew up surrounded by a variety of instruments and influences. By age 9, Dylan was performing in rock bands in popular public venues with the Rock U program. As Dylan entered Middle School, he became the only 6th grader in the school Jazz band and Jazz Combo groups. He now also performs in the Rialto All-Star Jazz big band at Georgia State University.
