Dennis “Finger Roll” Nelson

Producer,songwriter, film editor, director, actor,cameraman scriptwriter, Dennis Nelson has toured with the late great Genius of Soul–Ray Charles. Dennis developed his writing and producing skills under the leadership of Dick Griffey President/Owner of Solar Records. Dennis has also produced songs in movies like Deep Impact and Lambada,  and Set The Night On Fire for Solar/Epic Records. Through his professional relationship with Giffey, Dennis produced and wrote for two songs on the Grammy Award-winning Temptations’ Ear-ristible album and has the first single on their new Temptations All The Time CD being released in May. Dennis has worked with Tom Browne, Peabo Bryson and many more. Nelson also wrote for rock and roll superstar Robert Palmer on his Rip Tide Album that went gold and platinum and he is a featured jazz guitarist on Hidden Beach Hiphop Records Unwrapped Volume 2,3,4,5,6. His fast-blazing riffs earned him the nickname “FINGER ROLL” As a jazz/fusion rock guitarist, he received his formal academic training from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz.
