Young Jazz Pianist Clay Eshleman

Don’t let the lanky youthfulness fool you–Clay’s jazz piano expertise will blow you away!

Hailing from Marietta, GA, Clay Eshleman started playing the piano when he was three, starting classical lessons at four, and by twelve years old started playing jazz professionally around Atlanta.  Since then, he has made a name for himself as a member of the bustling Atlanta Jazz scene, consistently performing alongside some of Atlanta’s finest musicians.  His accomplishments include being named a national YoungArts merit winner in jazz piano, being selected as one of only two pianists from North America to perform at the Vail Jazz Festival in Vail, Colorado, and receiving a full scholarship to attend the Stanford Jazz Workshop in Palo Alto, California.  Clay spent the last year studying under Kevin Bales and playing in the GSU jazz band while still a high school student, and will continue his studies next year at Northwestern University’s prestigious Bienen School of Music.

ONE SHOW ONLY:  7:30       Admission: $20.
