ONE SHOW ONLY @ 7:00pm. The Velvet Note kicks off its 13th season of its Legends of Jazz Series with a celebration of the music of Cole Porter.

Justin Varnes and his Jazz Legacy Project will guide guests–in engaging, narrative form– through the life of this legendary saxophonist, as well as the impact that he had on the legacy of jazz. It’s like taking in a concert and taking a jazz history class at the same time.

Oh, and they’ll also play their behinds off!
