He is celebrated and adored by audiences worldwide. \n\n\n\nNoted as the year of emergence for the creative\, in 2004\, Lucas embarked on the journey of what would become footprints of a music legacy–forming an independent record label known as Mo’ Better Recordings along with an all new music project. Having the reigns of creative control at his advantage\, Lucas launched and distributed the debut CD project\, “Remembrance\,” independently on the new label in 2005\, “Something To Ride 2\,” in 2007\, and produced 4 more projects (from 2010-2016) in collaboration with the Mo’ Better Recordings label…each record marked with serious charting status and industry recognition. She began her love affair with music and the trumpet at 10 years old. During her formative years of high school and college\, Tiffany had the privilege of studying under her mentors\, Tuscan Jasper and Bob Ransom respectively\, two professional jazz trumpet players. She received a Bachelors of Science in Music from Hampton University in Audio Engineering\, and has since received a professional certification in Producing Music for Film and TV\, from Berklee College of Music and a Masters in Ethnomusicology from Liberty University. \n\n\n\nTiffany enjoys fusing jazz with her other musical influences like reggae\, hip-hop\, in order to create her own sound.  \n\n\n\nTiffany’s music has been featured in several independent films including Joy Road\, Every Scar and Dimple and Break/Fast. Over her lifetime\, Tiffany has had the opportunity to grace the stage with many notable local and national musicians including the Count Basie Orchestra\, Tito Puente Jr.\, Myrna Clayton\, Pato Banton\, Jesse Royal\, Jah9\, SaRoc and Derrick “Hott Soss” Cummings to name a few.

With Louis Heriveaux (piano)\, Kevin Smith (bass) and Terreon Gulley (drums). \n\n\n\nRussell Gunn is widely known for being the primary source of inspiration for this current generation of Jazz musicians. \n\n\n\nA two-time Grammy nominee\, Russells “Ethnomusicology” series of recordings paved the way for the new sound. \n\n\n\nRussell was also the featured trumpeter in the equally influential band “Buckshot LeFonque” headed by Branford \n\n\n\nMarsalis\, while simultaneously being a featured trumpeter in the early days of Jazz at Lincoln Center. \n\n\n\nRussell became the new trumpet sensation in New York when his solo on Wynton Marsalis’ Pulitzer Prize winning \n\n\n\nJazz oratorio “Blood On The Fields” was released. In the time since\, Russell founded\, composes for\, arranges \n\n\n\nand conducts the “Royal Krunk Jazz Orkestra” and was commissioned by the Apollo Theater in New York for his \n\n\n\nlarge work “The Blues and it’s People”. \n\n\n\nRussell Gunn & Blackhawk is jazz at it’s finest. A Velvet Note Exclusive: Jazz singer Nancy Wilson\, a three-time Grammy Award-winner\, already knew she would be a singer by the time she was four years old\, and developed her talent by singing in the church choir. Her records were successful\, and Capitol issued five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Initially focusing on rhythm and blues\, under Adderley’s influence\, she moved away from R&B and embraced jazz and torch songs. Their 1962 collaboration “Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley” helped propel her to the top\, and she had her breakout hit\, “Tell Me the Truth\,” in 1963. This brought her a gig at New York’s Coconut Grove\, the premier night club in America\, the following year\, and she became a star. \n\n\n\nIn this exclusive performance\, Nancy Wilson’s songs are interpreted by the great North Carolina-based singer Yolanda Rabun\, while the story of the history of her life is told by Jazz Historian Carl Anthony.
