SUMMARY:Danica
DESCRIPTION:SHOWTIMES: 7:30PM AND 9:30PM. Danica is an all-women jazz quartet on a mission: to share the beauty and soul-enriching power of jazz. Vocalist Audrey Silver\, pianist Hyuna Park\, bassist Jennifer Vincent\, and drummer Gary Kerkezou came together because they love this music—and because they believe in what it can do for people. \n\n\n\nAudrey Silver anchors the group with a voice Hot House Jazz Magazine calls “exquisite—warm and inviting\, pairing a velvet-laden timbre with impeccable phrasing.” Her interpretations—spanning original compositions and reimagined standards—reveal both clarity and emotional depth. \n\n\n\nWhat happens on stage is simple: four musicians listening to each other\, responding honestly\, and having a genuinely good time doing it. That joy is contagious\, and it’s meant to be shared. Whether you’re a longtime jazz lover or just curious\, Danica’s performances offer something increasingly rare—a chance to slow down\, connect\, and let the music work its magic.

SUMMARY:Four Women
DESCRIPTION:SHOWTIMES: 7:30PM AND 9:30PM. At the heart of the evening are the Four Women—each a commanding artist with a distinct voice and story to tell. Acclaimed vocalist and Billie Holiday Competition winner Iva Jean Ambush\, masterful interpreter and Howard University alumna Faith Jordan Willingham\, soulful storyteller Jeanette Mallory Brown\, and powerhouse stylist Joyce Licorish come together in a dynamic celebration of jazz and soul. Together\, they span generations of influence while honoring the traditions that connect the music at its core. \n\n\n\nEach vocalist brings a powerful narrative and musical perspective to the stage\, performing selections that embody strength\, vulnerability\, protest\, joy\, and triumph.
