He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force Band\, where he served as a musical ambassador\, bandleader\, and featured soloist. \n\n\n\nA Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance\, Dr. Trimmins is an accomplished educator as well as a performer\, currently serving as a Professor of Music while continuing an active concert career. His warm\, powerful trumpet sound blends technical brilliance with heartfelt lyricism\, creating performances that are both exhilarating and deeply moving. \n\n\n\nWhether delivering contemporary jazz grooves\, timeless standards\, or soaring ballads\, Dr. Ken Trimmins captivates audiences with musicianship that is both refined and accessible.
