Sasha was listed as one of 12 jazz artists to watch in 2019 by Paste Magazine\, Offbeat Magazine calls her “One of the brightest young talents in the Big Easy\,” Vanity Fair Magazine listed Sasha as one of the top jazz musicians in the U.S. and Downbeat Magazine has named Sasha among the most innovative musicians coming out of New Orleans to date.  \n\n\n\nIn this performance\, Sasha celebrates the music of Antônio Carlos Jobim (born January 25\, 1927\, Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil—died December 8\, 1994\, New York\, New York\, U.S.) was a Brazilian songwriter\, composer\, and arranger who transformed the extroverted rhythms of the Brazilian samba into an intimate music\, the bossa nova (“new trend”)\, which became internationally popular in the 1960s. \n\n\n\nCome on out and join us for our special cocktail\, called the Samba: Quince jelly\, gin\, lemon juice\, sugar syrup and thin slices of cucumber– yummy!
