Known for the candor in her interpretation and the ambience of her tone\, Karlea has been widely recognized as a transportive force for her audiences\, taking them on a journey with every song she presents.  \n\n\n\nKarlea is also the first-ever to have won Berklee College of Music’s Jazz soloist competition. She then went on to study at Berklee College of Music\, cultivating her craft under the direction of industry giants such as Debra Byrd and Sheila Jordan. \n\n\n\nHeavily influenced by Nancy Wilson\, Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington\, Karlea’s tone is just one of her unforgettable assets that charms every audience she encounters.
