The first show in our Songwriter’s Spotlight series, presented by Renegade Recordings and hosted by rock and roll singer/songwriter and recording artist Jonathan Gale, will feature Danielle Fiondella. Danielle is currently studying at Berklee College of Music and working on her 2nd CD Release. He music has been described as “raw and edgy…and honest,” as Danielle blends elements of rock, blues and folk to create a sound truly her own.
Danielle’s music is largely acoustic based with electric guitar, keyboard and harmonica. Her distinctively powerful vocals draw comparisons to artists ranging from Alanis Morissette and Pat Benatar to Joe Elliot and Jon Bon Jovi. Her songs embrace complex themes as she writes from a perspective of realism. Songs like “What You Don’t See in Me” and “4 am” invoke raw emotion and are hauntingly truthful. Her first CD release, “On My Way,” debuted in 2010 with five tracks of diverse selections.
Danielle performs regularly at Atlanta area venues including The Loft, Smiths Old Bar and Eddie’s Attic. “When Danielle takes the stage, she owns the room with her live show.”
