About Svetlana
Svetlana is a critically acclaimed “outstanding” (Wall Street Journal) vocalist from NYC – and her “NYC Darlings” band (Time Out NY) bring “exuberant foot stomping party” (WPIX11 News) from “jazz age to the 21st century” (PopDust).  Headlining sold out shows in clubs across the US and internationally (Blue Note in NYC,  Nighttown in Cleveland,  Bethesda Jazz & Blues in Washington, RegattaBar in Boston, Yoshi’s in San Francisco and more),  festivals and theaters around the US and internationally (Blue Note Festival, Italian Villas & Jazz Festival, Tel Aviv Blues Festival and more), the band combines Svetlana’s “erudite, purist torchy jazz” vocals (LucidCulture), the power of the “little big band” (Time Out) and the intoxicating “compelling” improvisational aspects of a small jazz group (NYMusicDaily) presenting music that is meant to move, uplift, energize and excite!   Svetlana’s album Night at the Speakeasy (produced by Grammy Award winning Guy Eckstine) has been released to critical acclaim on Origin Records, charted on Jazz Radio charts and was critic’s choice for Top 10 2015 albums (Classicalite, Vents Magaizne).
