Mister Tie Dye

Mister Tie Dye is a nine-piece ensemble based out of Athens, Georgia that started as a collective of students from the University of Georgia who wanted to use their influences in classical, hip-hop, funk, and jazz music to create something original. It features alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, two trumpets, tenor trombone, bass trombone, keyboard and synthesizer, electric bass, and drums. They perform a repertoire of music that spans over several genres, influenced by artists and composers such as OutKast, Snarky Puppy, NO BS! Brass Band, and more. The group released their self-titled EP in February 2017 and are currently working on their first full length album to be released in Spring 2018.
